U.S. SENATOR RUBEN GALLEGO ENDORSES SWALWELL FOR GOVERNOR

Arizona U.S. Senator Announces His Support; Highlights Swalwell’s Working-class Roots

LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, Swalwell for Governor announced U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) has endorsed his campaign. Gallego was first elected to represent Arizonans in Congress in 2014. Following a successful campaign in 2024, Gallego became the first Latino elected to represent Arizona in the United States Senate.

Sen. Gallego released the following statement:

"Eric Swalwell knows what it means to fight for working people because he’s lived it. The son of working-class parents and the first in his family to go to college, he’s never forgotten where he came from or who he’s fighting for.

Eric and I served together in the House, and we stood side by side on January 6th. What I saw that day was someone with real courage. He didn’t just show up in that moment, he kept fighting, helping lead the effort to hold Donald Trump accountable.

I’m proud to call Eric a friend and California will be lucky to call him their next governor."
