STATE SENATOR JOSH BECKER ENDORSES SWALWELL FOR GOVERNOR
Chair of the California Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Water Backs Swalwell
LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, Swalwell for Governor announced State Senator Josh Becker (SD-13) has endorsed his campaign.
Becker released the following statement:
“California has led the nation on clean energy because we’ve had leaders willing to make tough, forward-looking decisions. That kind of leadership matters right now more than ever and I believe Eric Swalwell is ready to meet that moment.
In my work on climate and energy policy, I’ve seen what it takes to move the needle: a clear understanding of the challenges and the willingness to act. Eric brings that mindset. He understands that affordability and climate progress have to go hand in hand, and he’s committed to delivering both.
As governor, I know that Eric will ensure we remain a global leader on clean energy, while delivering real affordability for Californians. That's a future worth fighting for and why I'm proud to endorse Eric Swalwell.”
