REP. SWALWELL STATEMENT ON SEIU CALIFORNIA ENDORSEMENT
LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, Congressman Eric Swalwell released the following statement after SEIU California endorsed his campaign for governor:
"Today, our campaign has made a major wave with the endorsement of SEIU California State Council.
To the more than 750,000 California workers — from nurses to janitors, state and public employees to long-term care workers and every single one of the workers that power this state — thank you. I am deeply honored to stand with you and to have earned your support.
This endorsement is about more than just a campaign, it’s about a shared belief in building a New California.
Together, we’re going to create a future where every family has a seat at the table and where our economy works for those who build it.
SEIU members are the heart and soul of this state. I’m ready to fight for you, and I’m ready to lead with you.”
