CONGRESSMAN LOU CORREA ENDORSES SWALWELL FOR GOVERNOR

Orange County Congressman Backs Swalwell for Governor; Highlights Their Working-Class Backgrounds

LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, the Swalwell for Governor campaign announced Congressman Lou Correa (CA-46) has endorsed his campaign. Correa’s district is based in Orange County and includes the communities of Anaheim, Santa Ana and Stanton, as well as parts of Orange and Fullerton.

“I'm proud to endorse Eric Swalwell for governor because he understands what it means to grow up in a working-class family struggling to make ends meet. Like so many Californians, we were raised to work hard, be responsible and look out for our neighbors — and we've carried those same lessons with us throughout Congress,” said Congressman Lou Correa. “Eric has never forgotten where he comes from, and will fight every day to lower costs and ensure working families can get ahead. I know we can trust Eric to bring these same values with him as the leader of our great state.”

Rep. Correa serves on the House Committee on the Judiciary and the House Committee on Homeland Security. He is a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus and Blue Collar Caucus. Correa represents the Orange County community where he grew up and raised his family. Correa is the son of working-class parents, immigrants from Mexico, who taught him first-hand about sacrifice and hard work.
